Remove "pseudoscientific"

Reiki is not all pretending to be scientific in the modern sense, just to be efficacious 2A02:8440:E501:A1B8:66D3:DC40:C80:183D (talk) 13:08, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Excessive markers of skepticism in this article interfere with conveying the basic tenets of reiki. A single sentence about the evidence or lack thereof would suffice. 136.25.55.169 (talk) 08:45, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not pseudoscience

[edit]

This article on Reiki is very flawed and needs to be re written. There is not necessarily touch, hands hover and can but not necessarily touch a recipient of energy. There is no reasoned basis for intitially describing it as pseudoscience. Adequate scientific work has not been done to say this. One would say quantum tunneling is pseudoscience if only a superficial description of it was provided, yet we now are understanding Quantum characteristics are basic to many common processes we see or experience. 136.47.198.57 (talk) 11:10, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
